Ingredients needed for hot and sour soup recipe:

Green beans- 2 cups (chopped)
Cabbage (shredded)- 4 tablespoons
Carrot- 1/2 (chopped)
Sprout bean- 2 tablespoons
Mushroom- 1 button (sliced)
Capsicum- 1/4th (chopped)
Onion- 1/2 (chopped)
Oil- 1 tablespoon
Ginger- 1 tablespoon (chopped)
Celery- 1 stalk (chopped)
Garlic cloves- 2 (chopped)
Bamboo shoots- 1/2
Veg stock- 2 cups
Green chilli sauce- 1 tablespoon
Soy sauce- 1 tablespoon
Corn starch- 2 teaspoons
Sugar- 1/4th teaspoon
Salt- as per requirement
White pepper powder- as per requirement
Vinegar- 1 tablespoon
Spring onions (chopped)- 2 tablespoons
Water- 4 tablespoons

Now, how to make hot and sour soup:

First, a take deep bottomed pan and add some oil to it.
Now, heat the pan over medium flame.
Once the oil is hot add chopped celery and chooped onions with sliced mushrooms to the pan.
Saute all the ingredients for a while.
After that add chopped ginger and garlic to the pan.
Now, let all the ingredients till you can smell the aroma of garlic.
Then, add chopped carrots, spring onions, capsicum, french beans with bean sprouts, and shredded cabbage.
Mix all the ingredients nicely and saute them till veggies become tender.
In the meantime chop the bamboo shoot and add it to the pan.
Again saute all the ingredients and toss after few minutes.
Now, add vegetable stock to the pan with green chilli sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar.
Then, stir all the ingredients.
After that take a separate bowl and mix corn starch with 4 tablespoons of lukewarm water to form a thin paste.
Add the corn paste to the pan and keep stirring till the soup becomes thick.
Now, add white pepper powder and salt as per requirement.
Then, turn off the flame and pour the soup into small bowls.
And your hot and sour soup is ready to be served.
