8. Rockstar (2011)
Now that’s what I call as “The Best of A.R.Rahman” list. This movie outshined all sorts of music with its thumping songs as well as soulful tracks and people still show their “Swag” by the song “Sadda Haq”. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the movie featured Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri. The movie revolves around Jordan aka JJ who struggles a lot and chases his ultimate dream to become an international rockstar. Songs like “Tum ho” and “Kun Faya Kun” takes me to a different sphere of life and “Katiya Karu” makes us dance to the traditional Punjabi beats.
