Finally, the D-day has arrived when ace director’s Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Padmaavat(i) movie will be released worldwide. As we all know this fact, this movie has been through a lot of controversies, and troubles because of the Karni Sena and the true Rajputana beliefs.

This is not the first time when Sanjay Leela’s movie has been trapped in between the controversies. Even the movies, Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani also faced some problems before the release. But this time Mr. Bhansali had to go way more ahead for the release and requested Akshay Kumar to postpone the release of PadMan on 25th January 2017 for a solo release.

And now, coming back to the movie, Padmaavat movie is all about the glory and sacrifice of the Rajputs which is pretty much defined in the minds of the people because of the past few months controversies. The plot of the movie is based on the poem written by a poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi. As the storyline of the movie is based on the 13th Century once can witness some scenic beauty and amazing effects that Bhansali has beautifully compiled in the movie.

Deepika Padukone is a true example of glory and grace that one can see clearly in the flick and one cannot miss out Ranveer Singh in never seen before black avatar as Alauddin Khilji. On the other hand, the role of Shahid Kapoor was not very appealing as Ranveer’s role silently takes off limelight.

Being a great visual delight, one has to admit that Bhansali’s extravaganza drags us to an imaginary story where Khilji’s character is detailed enough to dull out both Padmaavat and Rawal Singh. Plus, the fictional concept was not able to make up for the consistent story and there was also a lack of good music.

And finally, after seeing the movie, we can conclude this movie was a spectacular version of Bhansali for the oldest tale- ek tha raja, ek thi rani, dono mar gaye, khatam kahani.

Still, it is not a bad watch, and every Bhansali fan can expect everything from an amazing cinematic experience despite falling short on certain points here and there.
