In India, there are many things which are considered as a taboo especially when it is about ‘periods’ and ‘sanitary pads’. Being the part of the so-called modern world people are still not open about this. There are many places in India where women are not even aware of what sanitary pads are and what is the use of it. But after seeing the latest Akshay Kumar’s Padman trailer I’m pretty sure that people will get more aware and open about sanitary pads.
The Padman movie is based on the real-life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who came up with the revolutionary idea of manufacturing low-cost sanitary pads for poor women. And he also empowered many women across the country to be part of this cause.

After seeing Akshay’s amazing performance in Toliet: Ek Prem Katha we are very sure that this movie is going to be the next blockbuster. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte which promises it to be an absolute must watch.
The Padman movie is scheduled for the release on 26th January 2017. Here’s hoping for more what the Padman trailer promises.
