We Just Hope That These 7 Iconic Bollywood Movies Do Not Get Recreated

Nowadays it is a trend in Bollywood to remake or recreate the successful Bollywood movies. But do you guys know most of the Bollywood movies that are recreated has no creativity and most of the times the makers just mess up with the storyline and make the whole movie a mess?

This is not just in Bollywood movies but in Hollywood too. Have you heard about the fan flick of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child? Most of the people actually thought that it is a genuine trailer and soon it is going to be on screens. But it was just a trick to get a crowd of the audience on their video.

Well, there is nothing in our hands to stop these remakes. We can only pray and hope that these classic Bollywood movies should never be remade or rebooted as it will be tragedy and blunder for all the audiences who have an emotional connect with such movies.

Here are the few Bollywood movies that are classic till date and the one’s that should not be recreated:

1. Mother India

Mother India was released in 1957. It is one of the best Bollywood movies which was based on poverty and how a single mother with all the struggles raised her sons. This movie starred Nargis, Sunil Dutt, Rajendra Kumar and Raaj Kumar.

2. Mughal-e-Azam

Mughal-e-Azam was released in 1960. It was one of the greatest Bollywood movies till now. It is an Indian period movie starring Prithviraj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, Madhubala and Durga Khote. The story shows love affair between Prince Salim and a court dancer Anarkali.

3. Anand

Blockbuster Bollywood movie which starred Rajesh Khanna in lead role and Amitabh Bachchan, Sumita Sanyal, Ramesh Deo and Seema Deo in supporting roles. The movie was released in 1971.

The plot was too much soul stirring that we could not forget it even today.

4. Sholay

Who doesn’t know about this movie? We all have grown up listening to the dialogues of this Bollywood movie. Sholay was released in 1975. The plot of the story is a retired policeman hires two crooks to help him catch a dacoit Gabbar Singh who is troubling village people.

5. Gol Maal

This Bolywood movie is a hindi romantic comedy movie which makes everyone laugh hard. Gol Maal was released in 1979 and won several awards too.

6. Sadma

Sadma was released in 1983. This Bollywood movie starred Kamal Hasan and Sridevi. The plot of the movie revolves around a girl who met with an accident and suffers head injury and was rescued by a school teacher who later falls in love with the girl.

7. Mr. India

This Bollywood movie is a childhood memory for most of us as we all wanted to become Mr. India. This movie was released in 1987 starring Sridevi, Anil Kapoor and Amrish Puri as leads.

So, these were the few Bollywood movies that are not only classic but was also loved by the masses. Hence, no one should dare to recreate these movies and make it a tragedy.
