It was an amazing movie by Advait Chandan in which Meher Vij played the mother of Zaira Wasim. In this movie, one can clearly see how a mother fights all the odds and encourage her daughter to stand up for her dreams. Till now, this movie has ranked the highest grossing female-led Bollywood movie.
2. Shubh Mangal Saavdhan

Another brilliant performance of Seema Pahwa as a mother in the RS Prasanna film. She played the role of the mother who wanted to discuss everything about the love life with her daughter just to make sure that she will be happy after her marriage. No wonder she was a super cool mom.

3. Bareilly Ki Barfi

In this movie, Kriti Sanon’s father was shown in a pretty cool role but, her mother, played by Seema Pahwa was shown as typical Indian mother who is worried about her daughter’s marriage. Still, she never forced her daughter to get married and change herself for the sake of any man. And this is what we loved in this movie.

R Balki’s Ki & Ka failed to impress the audience with their gender role reversal still, there was one thing that felt right in the movie which was Swaroop Sampat who portrayed the role of Kareena’s mother in the movie. She played the role of the mother who not only supported her daughter’s ambitions but also helped to save her marriage.
