India is a country which known for its various societal norms that don’t allow a woman to achieve her dreams and goals. But, as the time is passing, we can witness a new change in the society. Let’s call it as Nayi Soch, which is now allowing the Indian women to fulfill their dreams just like men and set a benchmark for others to get inspiration.
As we all know this fact that Forbes annually generates a list to award a title to the people who have done a fab job in the previous year. And like usual, a month ago Forbes released the list of India ’30 under 30′ list and now has issued the new one i.e. Asia ’30 under 30′ list. And you will be glad to know this that four Indians have made it to the list which includes Anushka Sharma, PV Sindhu, Smriti Mandhana, and Padmanabh Singh.
If you look at the facts, it is said that this Forbes list had a total of 300 young disruptors and innovators across 10 varied categories, which keeps varying every year. And the Bollywood diva, Anushka Sharma who is just 29 has made it to the list this year by becoming the only Bollywood actor on the list. This amazing actor has not only acted in the top grossing movies but also, started her own production house that produced films like Phillauri and NH 10.
Along with Anushka Sharma in Forbes ’30 under 30′ list, the World No. 3 and ace shuttler, PV Sindhu has also made it to the list. The 22-year-old who is a silver medal winner in Olympic has also won the badminton women’s singles title where she bagged the bronze medal.
And the third person who has made to the list is Smriti Mandhana, 21, who is also known as the key player of the Indian women’s cricket team. She has set a benchmark by becoming the first Indian cricketer (female) to score double hundred in a one-day match. Also, she is one of the first two Indians to play in Australia’s Big Bash League.
Lastly, the fourth spot is grabbed by Padmanabh, 20, the captain of the Indian Polo team in England, is also the youngest member in the World Cup polo team.
