Glam Up Powder Cream Review

-

Shift through any TV channel and you’ll be bombarded by ads of cosmetic brands highlighting some new sort of enhancement & qualities… Few days back I saw an Ad where a girl was like.. “Aaj Rahul ke sath date hai…naya glam up jab dikhna ho special”. The advertisement was so hyped that I ended up buying this product… Well, my lovely ladies, I know you are sailing in the same ship and curious to know about the outcomes ( That’s why you are here ).. Just hold your breath and keep on reading!

Product Claims- Glam up glides on the face perfectly and offers the finish of a face powder. It is a light weight formula that gives a balanced and more even tone, moisture, smooth texture, protection from damaging sun and thereby, providing you a look fresh and radiant look.

Price Comparison- I bought this cream for around INR 150….. Though the product is quite affordable, I did not found worth of its price at all!

My Experience

As I said above, I was tempted to buy this cream after seeing the ad. The moment I got this product in my hands, I was keyed up to try it & you know what, after using, I washed my face immediately. The smell was horrible. Yuck ! It irritated me like hell.

When I was applying the cream, it was damn difficult to spread as it stayed on my skin’s top and made white patches. It doesn’t give coverage to the face at all… just a bit of fairness and that’s it! So for those who need proper coverage, this is not the right pick!

Packaging: The packaging is cute as it comes in red shiny cover which is so striking that anybody who sees it for the first time will immediately pick it up.

Blending: Though its texture seems quite thin but once you begin with blending, it will get powdery and dry (and I guess that’s why they claim for “powder cream” finish) and starts making patches, making the cheeks, chin area dry.

Lasting Power: Well I don’t have that idea as I washed it off immediately… was not able to bear that cheap smell…

What I liked about the product?

Ummmm..Just the price… The packaging also… Nothing else!

What I didn’t like about the product?

  • Hate its strong smell! Yuckkyyy
  • It looks cakey and ashy when applied…
  • Not suitable for those who need proper coverage.
  • Makes some kind of dry patches, which makes me look horrible!

WARNING- People with oily skin, don’t use this product…
