Ingredients needed for Bread Halwa:

• Bread slices- 18
• Milk- 5 cups
• Saffron- 2 pinch
• Sugar- 2 cups
• Raisins- 20
• Ghee- 2 tablespoons
• Cashews- as per requirement
• Pistachios- as per requirement
• Green cardamom- 1/2 teaspoon
• Almonds(roasted)- as per requirement
• Oil- required

Now, let’s get started with the recipe of Bread Halwa:

• First, take a deep bottomed pan and heat oil on medium flame.
• Now, add the crumbled bread pieces and fry till it gets golden brown.
• Then, after that keep them aside.
• Take another pan and heat ghee on a medium flame.
• Add raisins and cashews to the pan and fry till it gets golden brown.
• Now, take another pan and boil the milk and add cardamom powder, saffron powder and sugar.
• Then, mix all the ingredients well.
• After a while add all the fried bread in the milk pan and stir.
• And cook it for few minutes till it thickens.
• Once the mixture gets thick turn off the flame and let it cool.
• Garnish the Bread Halwa with the fried cashews, raisins, almonds and pistachios.
• Your Bread Halwa is ready to be served.
