Sapna initially started her career by working as a hair stylist at a salon named Juice and also started working as a Bollywood stylist. In 2011 she started her second salon in Andheri, Mumbai. She also relocated her first salon to a bigger space with better interiors in Bandra, Mumbai in the same year. She said in an interview, “This new location to me is really nice. I love kinda constantly moving on in life and it gives you the feeling that you’re evolving. So, my first location was very small, then I moved to something bigger and then a little bigger, and now, we’ve expanded over two floors and I guess it feels really nice.”

Co owned by celebrity hair stylist Adhuna Akhtar, this salon is a hit amongst celebrities and the trendy crowd of India. Before starting off in India Adhuna worked with major hair care brands such as Wella, Loreal and Vidal Sassoon. In 1998, she along with her brother and business partner Osh Bhabhani started Juice salon at Worli. Akhtar shot into fame after she did styling for Farhan Akhtar’s directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai in 2001. In 2004 Adhuna along with brother Osh and friend Avon started BBlunt. Jawed Habib is one of the oldest names in the business of hair styling in India. Jawed is the managing director of his company Jawed Habib Hair & Beauty Ltd. Jawed Habib’s grandfather Nazir Ahmed was a renowned hair stylist of pre-independent India and did styling for Lord Mountbatten, Jawaharlal Nehru (India’s First Prime Minister) and numerous VIPs.
