Being Indians one thing that we all love to have for breakfast is steaming hot, stuffed parathas. Not only are these super filled but also very nutritious at the same time. It is also a great way to make your kids eat vegetables with ease as they are going to love these parathas. The recipe mentioned below is very easy to follow and the end results are delicious. So without any further due let’s get started with the recipe.
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour- 2 cups
- Carrot- 1 (shredded)
- Paneer- ¼ cup (grated)
- Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
- Green chili- 2 (Finely chopped)
- Fresh coriander- 2 tbsp. (chopped)
- Cumin/jeera- ¼ tsp.
- Turmeric/haldi powder- 1/8 tsp.
- Lemon juice- ½ tsp.
- Salt to taste
- Oil to cook the parathas
Procedure:
- Â Start with the dough first and while you prepare the stuffing the dough will get some time to rest. In a big bowl add the flour and slowly start adding water to it. Knead the flour to make a soft dough. Cover the dough with a damp kitchen cloth and keep it aside.

- Â Now in a pan or kadhai, heat up some oil. Add the jeera and cook it a little. Now add the onion and cook them until translucent in colour. Now add the turmeric powder and cook it in the

- Â Once the onion is cooked you can add the green chili, carrot and paneer to it and mix everything really well. Cook the carrot and paneer for 3-4 minutes.
- Â Now add the lemon juice, salt as well as the coriander and mix everything for the last time. Your stuffing is ready.
- Â Let the stuffing cool for a few minutes and now you can start making the parathas.
- Â Take a lemon sized ball of the dough and roll it with the help of a rolling pin into a circle. Place 1 tbsp. stuffing in the middle of the circle and bring all the sides of the circle together to make a ball shape.

- Â Now apply some dry flour on the rolling surface and start rolling the paratha.
- Â Heat a tawa or frying pan and place the paratha on the hot tawa. Apply oil on the paratha and cook from both the sides till golden in colour.

9. Serve your steaming hot carrot and paneer stuffed paratha with curd or butter.
