Winters are arriving soon and one thing that most of us are worried about is that we have to put away all our colourful summer clothes somewhere in the back of our wardrobe. To be honest, nothing could be more traumatising than not getting to wear all the short skirts, dresses and tops. But what if I tell you that you can wear your summer clothes during winters as well? Wouldn’t it be great? All you have to do is make them winter-appropriate by adding some winter pieces and you are ready to rock your summer clothes even during winters. Here is how you can do that:

1. Maxi skirt/dresses- Maxi skirts and dresses are our go-to option on hot summer days. They are flowy, airy and can be modified as per the occasion. After spending all those lovely days together, you may not want to put them away during winters. The good news is that you don’t have to. You can very easily wear them during the winters as well. pair your maxi skirt/dress with a biker’s jacket or a sweater to keep yourself warm. You can also wear warm leggings under your skirt to keep your legs warm.

2. T-shirts- Another staple for summers. In fact, I am someone who lives by t-shirts during summers. If you are like me and don’t want to give up on t-shirts during winters, then you don’t have to. All you got to do is add a jacket or cardigan or a long coat to make the ensemble winter appropriate. A muffler and combat boots will be perfect to keep you protected from the chilly winter.

3. Short skirts- If it gets too cold where you live, then I won’t suggest wearing short skirts. But if the winters are not that harsh where you live then you definitely pair your short skirt with a pullover, cardigan or trench coat. You can also pair your skirt with warm leggings to keep yourself protected from the cold weather.

4. Summer dress- Yes, it will be very cold outside but that does not mean that we will give up on our pretty summer dresses altogether. Team up your summer dresses with matching or contrasting cardigans, blazers or jackets to look chic while keeping warm. You can totally dress up or dress down your ensemble depending on the occasion you are getting dressed for.

5. Shorts- Just like short skirts I won’t suggest wearing shorts when it is freezing outside. When wearing shorts during winters you can always pair them with full-length leggings or stockings to keep yourself warm while looking stylish at the same time. Knee high fleece or suede boots will highly compliment this look and will also keep you warm.
