Paneer Tikka On Tawa Recipe

  1.  In a bowl add the heavy cream, milk, cashew nut powder/paste, ginger garlic paste, salt, chopped coriander, chopped green chili, kasuri methi, gram flour and sugar. Whisk all the ingredients together.
  2.  Now crush the fennel seeds, cardamom and black pepper and add to the marinade as well. mix the marinade once again.
  3.  Put all the vegetable and paneer pieces in a bowl and pour over the marinade onto the veggies and paneer cubes. Mix everything really well so that all the paneer pieces and veggies are well coated with the marinade. Place the bowl in the refrigerator and let the paneer marinate for at least an hour.
  4.  Now in this recipe, we are going to use a charcoal grill, but if you don’t have one then you can prepare the tikka on tawa.
  5.  Heat up the grill and assemble the paneer and vegetable pieces on the skewers. Place the skewers on the grill and let the tikka grill. Turn the tikkas every 10-15 seconds. This way the tikkas will cook evenly.
  6.  You can tell when the tikka is ready looking at the brown spots on the paneer and veggies.
  7.  Serve the tikkas hot with onion rings and mint yogurt chutney.
