Panchmel dal is very famous dal of Rajasthan. To make this dal you need the combination of five pulses. It is very easy to make and you can easily make it at your home.
You can include this dal in your healthy diet because it is rich in protein.

INGREDIENTS
Yellow split moong dal- ¼ cup
Masoor dal- ¼ cup
Toor dal- ¼ cup
Split urad dal- ¼ cup
Chana dal- ¼ cup
Water- 1 ½ glass
Turmeric powder- ½ Tsp
Asafetida (Hing)- a pinch
Ghee- 1 ½ tbsp.
Cumin seeds (jeera)- 1 Tsp
Garlic (crushed) – 1 Tsp
Green chillies (chopped)- 1tsp
Red chili powder- 1tsp
Garam masala- ½ tsp + for garnish
Lemon juice- 2 tsp
Cumin powder (jeera powder)- for garnish
Coriander leaves (chopped finely)- for garnish
Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
• Wash all the pulses before cooking them.
• You can use whole green gram in place of split yellow mung beans.
• You can use oil in place of ghee.
• The water you added while cooking is based on the amount of gravy you needed.
HOW TO MAKE PANCHMEL DAL
1. Take a pressure cooker and add chana dal, toor dal, mosoor dal, urad dal, moong dal, urad dal and toor dal into it.
2. Then take 1 glass of water and add into it.
3. Then take turmeric powder and salt and into it and cook it in a pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles.
4. After 2-3 whistles open your cooker once it has cool.
5. Take a deep-pen and hated 1tsp ghee into it.
6. Add asafetida, crushed garlic; stir well and cumin seeds
7. Then add the chopped green chillies, salt and red chilli powder
8. Then add the cooked dal into the pan with a half glass of water.
9. Mix them well and Cook until it starts boiling. Once it starts to boil, turn the stove off and add lemon juice and garam masala.
10. Mix all the thing properly.
11. Garnish your dal with garam masala, coriander leaves, jeera powder and ghee.
Your dal is ready to serve with rice and roti.
