Everyone is aware of the fact that chicken is a great source of protein. And during the Ramadan fasting, is it essential that you consume enough protein to provide your body the minimum essential nutrient.
This recipe is perfect for breaking your fast with something healthy and nutritious. Chicken Majestic is a Hyderabadi dish that can be served as a snack or the main course. It basically is a dry dish, but if you want to make it semi-gravy, then all you need is to add a little curd and cook it well.

COOKING TIME: 40 MINUTES
SERVES: 2-3
INGREDIENTS:
• 300 grams of Boneless Chicken Fillets
• ½ cup of Buttermilk
• 1 ½ tablespoons of Corn Flour
• 1 teaspoon of Ginger-Garlic Paste
• 1 teaspoon of Turmeric Powder
• ½ teaspoon of Red Chili Powder
• Oil for deep frying
• 2 tablespoons of Salt
For Seasoning:
• 3 tablespoons of Thick Curd
• ½ teaspoon of Garam Masala
• 1 teaspoon of Soy Sauce
• ¼ teaspoon of Red Chili Powder
• 1 chopped Garlic Clove
• A handful of Fresh Mint Leaves
• 1-2 sprigs of Curry Leaves
• 2 Green Chillies
• Leftover Oil after deep frying

HOW TO PREPARE:
1. Take the chicken fillets and cut them into 2-3 inches long strips.
2. Now take a large bowl and pour the buttermilk in it.
3. Then, add salt and chicken strips, let them soak in it for 20 minutes at least.
4. Now, transfer the chicken strips into another bowl., separating them completely from the buttermilk.
5. Then add corn flour, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste and turmeric powder into the chicken and mix well to coat every piece of chicken. Set aside for about 10 minutes.
6. Meanwhile, take a deep-frying pan and put it on high flame. Fill it with oil, enough to deep fry the chicken pieces.
7. Now fry the chicken pieces on medium flame in the heated oil, until they turn slightly golden.
8. Take out the fried chicken pieces on a tissue paper to drain the excess oil from them.
9. Next, take another frying pan and pour 1 tablespoon of oil in it. Turn on the medium flame.
10. Add garlic into the heated oil and sauté until it becomes aromatic or golden brown.
11. Now, add green chillies and curry leaves into the pan and fry them for 30seconds.
12. Then add garam masala powder and mint leaves and sauté for a few seconds.
13. Now add thick curd and cook it on low flame to make it thick. Make sure that the curd is not too sour.
14. Next, add soy sauce and stir the mixture well.
15. At last, add the fried chicken pieces into the cooked curd mixture and mix well to coat all the chicken pieces well.
16. Take off from the flame and transfer into a serving plate.
17. Garnish with fresh mint or coriander leaves.
