Ingredients needed for making Vermicelli Upma:
• Vermicelli- 2 cups
• Salt- for taste
• Oil- 2 tablespoons
• Urad dal- 1 tablespoon
• Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
• Mustard seeds- 1 teaspoon
• Curry leaves- 9-10
• Green chillies- 2
• Onion- 1 (sliced)
• Carrots- 1/2 cup (chopped)
• Beans- 1/2 cup (chopped)
• Tomato puree- 1/2 cup
• Peas- 1/2 cup
• Turmeric powder- 1/2 teaspoon
• Peanuts (roasted)- 2 tablespoons

Now, how to make Vermicelli Upma:
• First, take a pan and add vermicelli to it and roast it for 3 to 5 minutes.
• Once they turn golden brown transfer it to a plate.
• Now, in the same pan add oil with cumin seeds, mustard seeds and urad dal.
• When they start to crackle add green chillies and curry leaves to the pan.
• And fry them for 1-2 minute.
• After that add onion and mix all the ingredients.
• Now, add salt and turmeric to the pan and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
• Then, add vegetables to the pan and stir,
• Cook them for 3-4 minutes.
• Now, add tomato puree to the mix with 2 1/2 cup water and let it boil.
• Then, add vermicelli and mix it well with all ingredients.
• And cover the pan with a lid.
• Let it cook for 5-6 minutes till the water is dried and vermicelli is cooked.
• Once the vermicelli is cooked garnish it with green chillies and peanuts on top.
• Your Vermicelli Upma is ready to be served.
