Chicken nuggets are one of the most popular non-veg items at fast food joints. But the ones that you get at these outlets are highly unhealthy and processed. A better option to make these at your home fresh from scratch as these are very easy to make. Today I am going to share with you an easy recipe to make chicken nuggets at home.

Ingredients:
- Chicken breast- 250 grams (soaked in buttermilk overnight in the refrigerator)
- All-purpose flour- 1 ½ cup
- Egg- 1
- Salt- as per requirement
- Pepper powder- ½ tsp.
- Garam masala- ½ tsp.
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp.
- Bread crumbs- ¾ cup
Procedure:
- Â Remove the bowl of chicken from the refrigerator half an hour prior to the cooking process.
- Â Drain all the excess buttermilk from the chicken.
- Â Sprinkle half of the garam masala powder, pepper powder and some salt on the marinated chicken and mix well.
- Â Add the remaining garam masala and black pepper powder to the flour. Add some salt as well and mix really well.
- Â Crack the egg into a bowl and lightly whisk with a fork.
- Â Transfer the bread crumbs to a plate.
- Â Coat the chicken piece with the flour and then in the egg followed by the breadcrumbs.
- Â Prepare all the chicken pieces in a similar manner and rest for 10 minutes.
- Â Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. When the oil is hot (not too hot) add the chicken nuggets to the oil and fry them until golden in colour.
- Â Drain on a kitchen paper towel.
- Â Serve the chicken nuggets hot with ketchup and mayonnaise.
