The best part about soya chunks is that you can make almost anything from it, from parathas to pizza. But today we are going to turn these chunks into a Chinese delicacy. You must have heard the name of chilli chicken, so today we are going to make the vegetarian version of the same with soya chunks. This recipe is perfect to make if guests come over uninvited or as a snack with your evening tea. This is also a clever way to make your kids eat something healthy.
So without any further due let’s get started with the recipe.
Ingredients:
- Soya nuggets- 100 gm
- Capsicum- 1 (chopped)
- Onion- 1 (chopped)
- Broccoli- 1 cup
- Green onion- ½ cup
- Green chilli- 3 (slit)
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp.
- Cornflour- 1 tbsp.
- Soya sauce- 1 tbsp.
- Vinegar- tsp.
- Tomato ketchup- 1 tbsp.
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking

Procedure:
1. Soak the soya chunks in some hot water for 15-12 minutes.
2. Once the soya chunks have softened, squeeze the excess water from them and keep them aside.
3. Now in a kadhai, heat up some oil and cook the onions in it till they are translucent in colour.

4. Once the onions are cooked add the slit green chilli and the ginger garlic paste. Cook everything for a minute or two.
5. Now add the green onion, capsicum and broccoli and sauté for a few minutes. Add the soya chunks and cook for 3-4 minutes.

6. Now in 1 cup of water, dissolve the cornflour and pour it over the vegetables and the soya chunks.
7. Add the soya sauce, vinegar and salt and cook until the sauce has thickened up.
8. Serve your crispy soya chilli piping hot.
