Ingredients needed for brown rice khichdi:
• Brown rice- 1 cup
• Salt- according to taste
• Yellow moong dal (washed and drained)- 1/2 cup
• Onion (chopped)- 1
• Carrot (chopped)- 1/2 cup
• Garlic (chopped)- 1 tablespoons
• Beans (chopped)- 1/2 cup
• Ginger (chopped)- 2 teaspoons
• Green peas- 1/2 cup
• Whole black pepper- 2 or 3
• Butter- 1/2 cup
• Cauliflower- 1/2 cup
• Coriander- 1/2 cup
• Cumin powder- 1 teaspoon

Now, how to make brown rice khichdi:
• First, soak brown rice for 30 minutes before cooking.
• After that rinse the rice and keep it aside.
• Now, heat oil in pressure cooker.
• Then, add onion, garlic, ginger with cumin powder and sauté for 1 minute.
• After that add chopped carrot, beans, green peas and cauliflower with black pepper.
• Sauté all the ingredients on a medium flame for 1 minute.
• Now, add brown rice and moong daal to the cooker.
• Then, add salt and sauté all ingredients for 2 minutes.
• Add 3 cups of water to the cooker and cook it for 7 whistles.
• After that, turn off the flame and keep it aside for a while.
• Your brown rice khichdi is ready to be served.
