Shahi tukda recipe is a very popular and easy dessert dish, which is prepared with fried bread slices, milk and few spices. This recipe has various versions. Ingredients needed for shahi tukda recipe:
Bread- 4
Condensed milk- 1/2 cup
Full cream milk- 1 cup
Kewra water- 2 teaspoons
Butter- 1 cup
Khoa- 1 cup
Green cardamom powder- 1 teaspoon
Rose water- 2 teaspoon
Sugar- 1/2 cup
Saffron- few strands
Silver vark- 4
Pistachios- 1/4th cup (Sliced)

Now, how to make shahi tukda:
First, slice the edges of the bread and then cut them into triangle shape.
Now, take a pan and heat some refined butter.
Then, fry the bread until they turn golden brown in color.
After that keep the breads aside.
Take another pan and pour milk to it.
Boil it on the low flame till it reduces to half.
Now, add condensed milk, saffron and sugar to the boiled milk.
Then, add kewra water, grated khoya and rose water.
Mix all the ingredients nicely to form a silky texture.
In the meantime, take a separate plate and place the fried bread.
Now, pour the thick milk paste on it.
Then, garnish it with silver vark and sliced pistachios.
Your shahi tukda is ready to be served.
