In India, you will get varieties of cheela like sweet cheela or the savoury one. We usually have this at our breakfast table or sometimes as the evening snack. It is actually not that difficult to prepare and this is one among many reasons, it’s very much popular in our homes.

Ingredients you need:

• Atta (Wheat flour) – 1 cup
• Sugar – 1 cup
• Chilled milk – 1 ¼th cup
• Ghee – ½ cup
• Cardamom powder – 1 tablespoon

How to Prepare

1. Take atta and put into a bowl.
2. Then add three-quarter of chilled milk in the atta.
3. When you are done with this, then add sugar and cardamom powder into it.
4. Mix it well.
5. After this, add the remaining milk slowly into the mixture and keep pouring it while mixing the milk into it.
6. Keep the bowl aside.
7. Now, take a flat pan and heat it.
8. Take some batter with the ladle and pour it into the pan and spread it evenly, like a dosa.
9. When you see the pores on the top, take half a tsp of ghee and spread it by rotating the pan.
10. After this, leave it to cook for at least 30 seconds.
11. Then, flip it over and leave it to cook on the other side too.
12. When you see that the color of it converted into light brown, take it out from the pan.
13. Now, serve it hot.
