Sonam told the publication that she eats enough in the day, but ensures she doesn’t overdo it. “I prefer a diet that is rich in protein and low in carbohydrates,” she said. “I eat only certain foods and if I have to change my diet, I will check the menu first and chose whatever suits my needs,” she added.

Breakfast

The actress told the publication that she prefers Fruit, oatmeal, egg whites, protein shake during breakfast and for a change she sometimes takes a simple carbohydrate meal which includes few fruit servings and low-fat Greek Yoghurt. Sonam said that this keeps her energized throughout the day.
Lunch and dinner

In lunch and dinner Sonam says she avoids eating red meat and eats multigrain chapattis made up of Millets. The actress says, though she is more a vegetarian, but she consumes fish and lean meat sometimes because it contains lower triglycerides and cholesterol. The actress says that when she feels hungry in the day she prefers to eat nuts and dry fruits.

What she prefers to eat during travel

The Neerja actress says that during travel she carries apples, health bars and sandwiches with her to satiate the hunger.
