We all have experienced this phase that we ourselves or one of our family member fall ill and we continuously worry about the infection caused by the germs or bacteria to anyone or anything else. It is generally seen that some viral infections are contagious and they easily get spread to the other beings. Most of the germs that we cannot even see with our naked eye are actually present in our home. Thus, it becomes extremely important to disinfect the home during or after the illness.
1. The use of Vinegar: This is perhaps the most convenient and economical way to combat with any kind of infections. All you need to do is to take a spray bottle and pour 1/3rd Vinegar and the rest 2/3rd water in it. Spray it over the surface of kitchen and living rooms in order to kill any germs present. In case you are allergic to the smell of the vinegar, you can add some lemon to it too in order to neutralize the aroma.

2. Laundry Room: Most of the germs and bacteria come from the clothes we wear, so in this case it becomes extremely essential to wash regularly the towels we use, the bed linens, the curtains along with the rest of the clothes.

3. Use Solar Energy: This is one of the boons given to us by God and we humans are somewhere fail in utilizing this energy to its maximum potential. The bed mattresses, comforters, pillows should be kept in sunlight for a few hours. We sleep on the mattresses and use the pillows that might contain germs over them and this is the best way to burn any germs present to them.

4. Boil all the toothbrushes: There is a great danger of catching the germs through the toothbrush via the oral medium, so it is suggested to sterilize the toothbrushes as a topmost priority. The best way to implement this is to boil the brushes in a stream of hot water for quite some time and then let them dry before using any further. Or the other option could be to throw them into a dustbin and better go with entirely new toothbrushes.

5. Sterilize the Washrooms: The washroom that the infected person used should be cleaned at urgency. There is a mighty threat that the germs could be communicated very easily from the toilet used by the ill person. So, make sure that you clean the complete surface of the washroom with vinegar or sterilizations washing bottles in order to make it germ-free.

6. Do not share food: Even if you are in a recovering stage there are chances that the germs or the viruses are still present within you, so it is suggested to not share food, water or even the utensils with any of the healthy family members. There might be chances of contaminated germs spreading to the healthy persons too, so it is better to avoid any such circumstances.
