Pulao is relished by everyone in India. Be it the Southern India or Northern India. A platter of sumptuous Pulao is spurting with flavours and aroma. Meat cooked with some hand-picked spices and layered with rice makes our mouth water by its mere mention. So if you’re a meat lover, then try this simple recipe at home.

Ingredients:
- ½ kg Basmati Rice
- ½ kg Meat sliced into 2-inch pieces
- 2 onions diced
- 2 tbsp. brown onion paste
- 6 green cardamoms
- 6 black cardamoms
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 6 cloves
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- 1 lemon juice
- 2 split green chillies
- 1 tbsp. mint leaves
- Saffron ground with water
- 1/4 tsp of mace and cardamom powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 2 bay leaf
- 4 tbsp. silver leaf

How to Make Motia Gosht Pulao?
- Â Heat some ghee in a kadhai.
- Â Add the cloves, cardamoms, 1 cinnamon sticks, 1 bay lead and then add the chopped onions.
- Â Fry the onions and the whole spices for 5 minutes.
- Â Add the meat pieces, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder and salt to taste.
- Â Cook till the meat is half cooked.
- Â Add the grated ginger, green chillies and 150 gm curd.
- Â Add some water and simmer till the meat becomes tender and the water evaporates.
- Â Add the cardamoms, mace powder, saffron and mint leaves.
- Â Take a pan and boil some water. add the remaining cloves, green cardamoms, bay leaf and cinnamon.
- Â Add some salt and soaked rice. Boil it till the rice is half cooked. Strain the remaining water.
- Â Put the rice over the cooked meat and pour it over the saffron.
- Â Seal the lid with a fresh dough. Cook it for 15 minutes.
- Â Mix some minced meat with besan, curd and onion paste.
- Â Make the meatballs with the minced meat. Fry them for 5 minutes and wrap them in the silver leaf.
- Â Garnish them over pulao.
