Ingredients needed:
• Milk (full cream)- 1 litre
• Sugar (powdered)- 4 tablespoons
• Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
• Cardamom powder- 1 teaspoon
• Saffron- few strands (soaked in 1 tablespoon milk)
• Milk powder- 2 tablespoons
• Dry fruits- for garnish
Now, how to make Kesari Sandesh:
• First, start boiling the milk.
• Once the milk starts to boil add lemon juice in it.
• After that, keep the flame low.
• Now, take a big bowl covered with muslin cloth.
• Then, pour the milk on it.
• After that, squeeze out the excess water from the chenna.
• Now, in a bowl add chenna with cardamom powder, milk powder and sugar.
• Then, mix it properly with your hands.
• After that, cook the chenna on a non-stick pan to remove excess moisture.
• And let it cool.
• Now, make small rounds of the chenna and flatten them a bit.
• Then, press them in the centre to form a depression.
