Idli is considered to be the tastiest and the healthiest option for breakfast. It is cooked in lesser oil and it is packed with many nutritional benefits. This makes it a power-packed breakfast option. And if you add some veggies to it, it becomes even more nutritive. Today we will teach you how to make tasty and healthy Palak idli which you will relish.

- ½ kg Idli batter
- 2-3 bunches of Spinach, chopped
- Oil for greasing

How to Make Palak Idli?
- Â Wash the spinach properly and chop it. Soak it in hot water for 3 minutes.
- Â Take them out of the hot water and keep them aside for letting them cool down.
- Â Grind it in a grinder to make a fine paste out of it. Mix this paste in the Idli batter.
- Â Make idli using this batter.
- Â Pour this batter into the idli moulds. Grease the moulds before pouring the batter.
- Â Put the idli moulds in the idli pot for cooking.
- Â Steam it for 15-17 minutes. Keep the flame to the full for the first 5 minutes and then lower the heat.
- Â Wait for 7 minutes before opening the lid. With the help of a stick, check whether the idli is cooked.
- Â When it is cooked, take it out and serve it hot with sambhar or coconut chutney.
