Ingredients:
- 200 gms Paneer or tofu
- 1 small capsicum chopped
- 1.5 cup water
- 1/4th tsp black pepper powder
- ½ cup chopped spring onions
- 1 green chilli
- ½ inch ginger chopped
- 5-6 garlic chopped
- 1 tsp celery chopped
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp. tomato sauce
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Spring onions for garnishing
For corn flour paste:
- 2 tbsp. corn flour
- ½ cup water
For Marinating Paneer
- 2 tbsp. corn flour
- ½ tsp chopped ginger garlic
- Salt and black pepper to taste
How to Make Paneer Manchurian?
- Â Mix the ingredients in a bowl for marinating paneer.
- Â Add the Paneer pieces to this mixture. Mix it well.
- Â Deep fry this marinated paneer. Strain on paper and keep them aside.
- Â Remove the excess oil from the pan and add the spring onions when the oil becomes hot.
- Â Fry the onions on medium heat while stirring.
- Â Make the corn flour paste. Fry the onions till they become translucent.
- Â Add the ginger, garlic, green chillies and celery to it. Stir it for a minute.
- Â Add capsicum and fry it for 2 mins.
- Â Add the sauces mentioned in the list and water. stir it well and simmer it for 1 minute. Add the cornflour paste to thicken the gravy.
- Â Add the Paneer pieces to the gravy. Add vinegar, pepper and salt. Lower down the heat and cook for a minute.
- Â Garnish it with spring onions. Serve it hot with noodles or fried rice.
