Ingredients:
- ½ cup sooji
- ½ cup water
- 3 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4th tsp baking soda
- Salt to taste
- Oil for greasing the pan
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 small tomato chopped
- 1 green chilli
How to Make Rava Uttapam?
1. Make a paste of Rava and water in a bowl.
2. Leave it for 30 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, you can chop the onions, tomatoes and green chillies.
4. Stir the batter after 30 minutes. Add lemon juice and baking soda. Stir it well.
5. Keep a tawa on the flame and heat it. Add some oil to it.
6. Pour the batter on the tawa. And spread it gently using a bowl or a spoon.
7. When the batter is still soft add the chopped veggies on top of it. Gently press the veggies with a spatula so that it gets stuck together.
8. Add some oil on the sides and the top. When you see that the Rava is light brown. Flip it gently.
9. Cook the chopped veggies until they are golden brown.
