How to Make: Tangy Mexican Tomato Salsa

Eating nachos with salsa is all time favourite for those who want to eat something tasty while not piling up on calories. The tangy juices of tomato, the spiciness of green chillies and the sour taste of lemon juice make, in just one bowl. Sounds amazing? Isn’t it?

You don’t need to go to the fancy Mexican restaurants to enjoy the tomato salsa. You can prepare it in just 5 minutes. Yes, you can! You can serve nachos with salsa as an appetizer or as a snack to your guests.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1/4th tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4th teaspoon red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1-2 tbsp. chopped coriander

How to Make Tomato Salsa?

  •  Rinse the veggies and chop them in a bowl. Remove the seeds from the tomato to prevent the salsa from being too runny.

  •  Add 1/4th tsp of cumin powder, 1/4th tsp of red chilli powder, salt and 2 tsp of lemon juice.

  •  Mix them well. add more red chilli powder and lemon juice if required.

  •  Add the chopped coriander leaves.
  •  Refrigerate if you need to serve it later.
  •  Serve it with some nachos or any other potato chips of your choice.
