My take on Lakme Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse
After sleeping through my alarm, dealing with my usual morning style trauma is pretty much mind-numbing. For most of the days, when my mornings are short and stress levels shoot up, spending even a few more minutes on blending my foundation feel tiresome. That’s where my new Lakme Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse acts like a savior. It has a whipped cream like texture with an incredible feather light formula that blends miraculously and that too in a jiffy. I must say, it is the fastest blending foundation I have ever used.
This skin natural mousse blends very nicely and feels almost like a second skin. While it fails to conceal my dark circles, but as far as little skin imperfections are concerned, it does a fairly good job. To conceal dark blemishes, you made a concealer. It gives a light to medium coverage with absolutely no caking at all. Although it claims to stay put for over 16 hours, but for me, the flawless finish lasted only for five to six hours. Since I have a normal skin, that tends to become slightly dry in winters, and therefore I prefer to slather a deep moisturizer before applying the foundation, otherwise it may result in dry patches all over the face. For lovelies with oily skin, this is a great foundation.
It is available in three shades – Ivory Fair, Golden Medium and Beige Honey. I bought a golden medium shade as ivory fair was a notch too light. The shades are limited, which may be considered as a drawback. There should have been more shades, I wish!

Bottom Line
For people who are always on a rush and have not time for applying foundation, trust me, this one is worth trying, especially when you have oily skin. It has a great matte finish.
