Ingredients needed for methi paratha recipe:
Fenugreek leaves (methi) – 1 bunch
Green chillies- 2 (chopped)
Red chilli powder- 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
Asafoetida- 1 pinch
Turmeric- 1 teaspoon
Salt- as required
Water- as required
Wheat flour- 250 grams
Ghee- 100 grams

Now, how to make methi paratha:
First, wash the fenugreek leaves or methi in running water.
After washing the fenugreek leaves, chop them and add it to a large bowl.
Now, in the same bowl add chopped green chillies, wheat flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida, coriander powder, cumin seeds, ghee, and salt.
Then, add some water to the mixture and knead into a nice dough.
After kneading the dough, cover it with a damp cloth and keep it aside for a while.
Next, prepare small balls from the dough and using a rolling pin make round shaped rotis.
In the meantime, heat a tawa over a medium flame with some ghee.
Now, place the prepared rotis on it and cook till they turn golden in color from both sides.
Then, place them on a separate plate.
Your methi paratha is ready.
