On mornings, when you don’t have much time to prepare a wholesome and filling breakfast, there is one thing which you can make with ease and that too in no time. We are talking about omelettes. Eggs are the perfect breakfast item as it is loaded with proteins, healthy fats and vitamins. It not only fills you up but also provides you with the required energy you need to get started for the day.
So today we are going to share with you a very simple cheese omelette recipe. It is easy to make and it literally takes just 5 minutes to prepare. So without any further due, let’s get started with the recipe.
Ingredients:
- Eggs- 2
- Butter- 1tbsp.
- Thyme- ½ tsp.
- Red chilli flakes- ½ tsp.
- Cheese- 2 tbsp. (grated)
- Milk- 1 tbsp.
- Salt to taste
Procedure:
1. Melt the butter in a non-stick pan.

2. In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them really well. Add the thyme, red chilli flakes, salt and milk (adding the milk will make the omelette fluffier). Whisk everything really well again.

3. Now pour the beaten eggs into the hot pan and swirl the pan to distribute the egg mixture evenly in the pan.

4. While the top of the omelette is still little runny, add the grated cheese on top of the omelette. Cook the omelette for a minute.

5. When the omelette is slightly golden in colour, loosen up the edges and fold the omelette in half.

6. Turn off the flame and slide the omelette onto a serving plate.
