Ingredients needed for banana barfi:
• Banana (chopped) – 5
• Sugar – 100 grams
• Milk powder – 1/4th cup
• Butter – 1/4th cup
• Cocoa powder – 1 tablespoon
• Pistachios (crushed) – 1 teaspoon
• Ghee – 50 grams
• Cashews (crushed) – 1 teaspoon
How to make banana barfi?
• First, take a pan and heat a teaspoon of ghee.
• Now, add cashews and pistachios in the pan.
• Then, fry the ingredients until they turn light brown.
• Take another pan and heat it on a medium flame.
• Now, add the remaining ghee with chopped banana.
• Then, add sugar to it and stir.
• After cooking it for a minute, add milk powder, butter and cocoa powder.
• Bring the flame to low and stir all the ingredients.
• In the meantime, prepare a greased plate.
• Once the mixture starts to leave the sides, transfer it to the plate.
• Now, spread the mixture evenly and let it cool.
• Then, cut them into desired shapes.
• Garnish it with fried pistachios and cashews.
• Your banana barfi is ready to be served.
