Whenever someone comes to your home over tea, we always serve little snacks and sweets along with it. Normally these snacks or sweets are the ones that you get from the supermarket and it is nothing new. But if you want to surprise your guests with something new which is very different from anything they have tasted before, then try making these chocolate coconut balls. This recipe is very easy to prepare and your guests, as well as your family members, are going to love it.
So without any further due, let’s get started with the recipe.
Ingredients:

- Cocoa powder- 3 tbsp.
- Grated fresh coconut- 2 cups
- Cardamom powder- 1 tsp.
- Ghee- 1 tsp.
- Khoya- 1 cup
- Milk- 2 tbs.
- Castor sugar- 1 cup
- Rose water- 1 tbsp.
- Cashews- 9-10
- Sliced almond for garnish
Procedure:
1. Heat the ghee in a heavy bottomed pan. Once the ghee has warmed up add the khoya into it and cook it really well. It may take about 7-10 minutes.
2. Once the khoya is cooked, add the coconut to it (save some for rolling over the balls) and cook for another 2 minutes.
3. Now add the sugar and cook for some more time. Along with the sugar, add the cardamom and the rose water as well.
4. Now take out the mixture on a plate and let it cool for some time.
5. Once the mixture has cooled down add the cocoa powder and cashews and knead really well.
6. Now wet your palms a little and start making small balls of the mixture. Once all the balls are done, roll them in the remaining grated coconut.

7. Garnish your chocolate coconut balls with sliced almonds.
8. Best served with your evening tea or coffee.
