The breasts of a woman tend to change a lot throughout her lifespan mainly because of the change in hormones. but these changes do reveal a lot about their health as well. If you are noticing some changes in your breasts then it is the indication of some type of underlying condition. Thus it is very important to keep an eye on any such changes and getting them checked on time. Below we have mentioned some of the signs that you should keep an eye on.
1. Decreasing size- Your breasts are made up of fatty tissues and when your body starts to lose fat your breasts too start to decrease in size. So if you are on a diet or trying to lose weight, then the reduction in your breast size is mainly because you are trying to lose weight. But if you are not on a diet or you are not doing anything to lose weight then might want to get it checked by your doctor for other underlying reasons.

2. Stretch marks- Stretch marks often appear on the body when the body is gaining or losing weight. Stretch marks on your abdomen area and other parts of the body after pregnancy are very common, but if you haven’t been pregnant and still you have these marks then you are either gaining or losing weight.

3. Itching- If you are experiencing itching on or around the chest area then you are probably having some allergic reaction to some skincare products that you might be using or the fabric of your bra is causing friction thus leading to itching and irritation. Try switching your skincare products and wear cotton bras to solve this problem.

4. Breast hair- Breast hair is not something very common, so if you have recently noticed that you have hair on your breast then maybe you are suffering from PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). This condition is the result of excessive production of the male hormone by the ovaries or the adrenal glands. In this case, you must get your hormone levels checked and take prescribed medicines.

6. Breast lump- Often breast lumps are associated with breast cancer, but not all of them are cancerous. If the lump or lumps are painful chances are that this lump is not cancerous because most of the cancerous lumps are painless. In either case, it is better to get the lump checked.
