• Mix all the ingredients well.
• In the meantime take another bowl and add butter to it.
• Now, add sugar to the bowl.
• Then, beat the mixture till the sugar is dissolved.
• After that add eggs and vanilla essence to the butter mixture.
• Beat the mixture again till it becomes frothy.
• Now, slowly add the all purpose flour mix to the frothy mixture.
• Make sure you mix all the ingredients evenly without any lumps.
• Then, add the soaked nuts and fruits to the mixture.
• After that grease a pudding tin with butter.
• Now, pour the batter into it.
• Then, let it cook in steam on low flame for 1 to 2 hours.

• After an hour check the pudding with a skewer just to make sure it is cooked properly.
• If the skewer comes out clean then it means the pudding is ready.
• And if not then let it cook for a while.
• After that turn off the flame and remove the pudding from the pudding tin.
• Keep the pudding aside and let it cool.
• Now, transfer it to a separate plate and decorate it with cherries and add chocolate sauce on top.
• And your Christmas pudding is ready.
