Buttermilk is a summer cooler that is prepared from plain yogurt or curd and there are various methods to prepare buttermilk, or what we commonly call it as Chhaas, but in this article, you will know how you can quickly prepare Masala Buttermilk or Masala Chhaas within no time.

PREPARATION TIME: 10 MINUTES
SERVES: 2-3
INGREDIENTS: * measuring cup used, 1 cup = 250 ml
• ½ teaspoon of roasted Cumin Powder (Bhuna Jeera powder)
• 1 cup of Water
• 1 ½ cups of Plain Yogurt or Curd (Dahi)
• 5-6 Ice Cubes
• Black Salt as per the taste
• Few fresh Coriander or Mint Leaves

HOW TO PREPARE:
1. Take a blender jar and put curd, water, ice cubes, cumin powder and salt into it.
2. Now blend them all together to end up with a thin consistency drink along with lots of froth.
3. Then pour out the drink into the glasses and garnish with fresh mint or coriander leaves.
4. Serve chilled.
Note* either add the ice cubes in the blender or use chilled curd and water to make the drink taste better. You can also adjust the consistency of the buttermilk as per your desired taste.
