When it comes to kebabs as compared to non-vegetarian, vegetarians have a very limited option. At the most you can think of a vegetable kebab or the chickpea kebab or falafel, but nothing more than that. Well today to increase your options we have come up with this soya chunk kebab recipe. This one may look like a non-vegetarian kebab but is 100% vegetarian and absolutely sumptuous. It is a perfect recipe to accompany your evening tea.
So without any further due let’s get started with the recipe.

- Ingredients-
- Soya granules- 2 cups
- Poha- ½ cup
- Potato- 1 (boiled)
- Onions- 2 (finely chopped)
- Green chili- 2 (chopped)
- Ginger paste- 1 tsp.
- Fresh coriander- 2 tbsp. (chopped)
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp.
- Cumin powder- 1 tsp.
- Red chili powder- 1 tsp.
- Chaat masala- 1 tsp.
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
Procedure-
1. Soak the soya granules for 20 minutes in hot water (make sure the water is not boiling).

2. In another bowl soak the poha as well and keep it aside.

3. Once the soya granules and the poha have soaked, in a big bowl mash the boiled potato and add the soya granules, poha, all the spices, green chili, ginger paste, salt and chopped fresh coriander. Mix everything well.
4. Now dampen your hands and start making the kebabs. Once all the kebabs are ready, heat up some oil in a non-stick pan.

5. Cook the kebabs on a medium flame until they are crisp golden brown on the outside.
6. Take off the kebabs on a kitchen towel and let it soak the excess oil.
7. Serve your healthy vegetarian soya kebabs with your favorite chutney.
