5 Home Remedies for Facial Cleansing

Today it is very common to see people using soaps and face wash for cleaning the face. But hardly few of them know these soaps and face washes contain various harmful chemicals which can harm the skin. This makes it more important to remind you of the home remedies which can be used in chemical’s place. Following home remedies will clean your face without further causing any harm to it.

1. Milk

Milk is an extraordinary ingredient for cleansing the skin. It deeply cleanses the skin without further making it dry. It is the best cosmetic product which eventually removes the dead skin cells from the face.

The main nutrient present in milk is lactic acid. Lactic acid in the milk is a deep pore cleanser. It cleans the dust particles and dirt which are clogging pores. It reduces blackheads, acne, whiteheads and pimples breakout. The other nutrients in milk include potassium,  calcium, Vitamin A, D, B12, B6 and Biotin.

It is being heard a lot about sugar scrubbing by now? Grind the sugar into very small granules and put some honey in it. Now massage it on your face in circular motions. You can further add aloe vera to it. Now wash your face with the cold water for best results.

A sugar scrub contains large sugar crystals. The idea is to massage the sugar granules into the skin to remove dead skin cells and debris. However, the rough nature of sugar scrub makes it harsh for the facial of skin.

3. Papaya

Vitamins and Carotenoids are found abundantly in papaya. Papaya can be used as a natural cleanser. Now mash the pulp of papaya and mix some honey to it. Massage it gently on your face. Wash it further with cold water.

The enzymes chymopapain and papain in papaya decrease inflammation. The protein-dissolving papain is found in various exfoliating products. These products help in reducing acne by removing the dead skin cells which can clog pores. Papain also removes damaged keratin which can be further build up on the skin and forms small bumps

4. Coconut Oil

Gently massage the face with coconut oil. It will clean your face deeply and will further add moisture to the skin. Now wash your face later with the lukewarm water.

With hydrating fatty acids and antibacterial properties coconut oil is considered great for a lot of beauty treatments, including washing the face. For a daily cleaning of skin, use a method called oil-cleansing, where coconut oil is massaged into the skin before wiping it off further.

5. Honey

Honey is an important cleansing product for the skin. It is used to treat skin problems. It cleanses the skin while hydrating it. Now massage a teaspoon of honey on your face and leave it for a few minutes to see the best results. Now further wash your face with lukewarm water to see the glowing effect on skin.
