There’s no single person in our country who doesn’t like eating lip-smacking tikka from the roadside stalls. But no matter how much do we crave for them, eating them daily is something out of the question. It’s not good for our health. So we’re putting together this recipe to prepare delicious Sweet Corn Tikki. And what’s more? You don’t have to worry about eating too much of starch as this dish is purely made up of sweet corn. Without wasting any time, let’s learn how to make corn tikka
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sweet corn
- 2 medium sized potatoes
- ½ cup bread powder
- 2 green chillies
- ½ teaspoon grated ginger
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 4 tbsp. finely chopped coriander leaves
- ½ tsp Garam masala
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Oil as per requirement
How to make Sweet Corn Tikki
1. Separate some sweet corns and keep them aside.
2. Boil the sweet corns and grind them in a grinder. Chop some garlic and green chillies.
3. Boil some potatoes and mash them with your hands. Add the chopped garlic and green chillies to the grated sweet corns.
4. Add powdered bread, sweet corn mixture, Garam masala, coriander leaves, lemon juice, ginger and salt to it. And mix them well.

5. Add the sweet corns which were asked to be kept aside in step 1. Mix them well. This is the mixture to prepare the Tikki.
6. Make small cutlets with the mixture and press them lightly at the centre with your hands. Make the rest of the tikkis this way.
7. Put a non-stick pan on the stove and add 2-3 tablespoon of oil on it. When the pan is hot, put the cutlets on the pan to bake. Sprinkle some oil on the top of the cutlets with the help of a spoon. Flip them when one side is baked properly. Your Sweet Corn Tikki is ready!

8. Serve it hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
