These days, everyone is seen eating honey chilli potatoes from the roadside vendors. Not a single nook of the street is left which is not swarmed by the Chinese eating points which serve honey chilli potatoes. But instead of eating them from these unhygienic roadside stalls, why not make them yourself at home? And believe me, it is very easy to make.

The ingredients mentioned in the list are sufficient enough to serve four people. Increase or decrease the quantity accordingly.
Ingredients:
- 2 peeled and sliced potatoes
- 3-4 tbsp. of cornflour or maida
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp of chilli powder
- Oil for frying
- 2 spring onions diced
- 1 tbsp. garlic paste
- 1 diced capsicum
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 1/4th cup soya sauce
- 3 tsp white sesame seeds
- 2 tsp chilli sauce
How to make honey chilli potato?
1. Slice the potatoes in the shape of French fries. Take some cornflour, salt and red chilli powder in a bowl and mix them well.
2. Add the sliced potatoes to the bowl and toss them with your hands until each of the potato slices is coated.

3. Heat some oil in a pan for frying. Deep fry the potatoes until they are golden brown, just like French fries. Keep them aside.

4. In another pan heat some oil on medium flame. Add garlic paste, spring onions and sauté them for 1 minute.

5. Add the diced capsicum, honey, salt, soya sauce and chilli sauce. Cook them for 2-3 minutes.

6. Add the fried potatoes to the pan along with sesame seeds. Mix it well. Serve it hot.
