1. The Entry
The entry to your house is very important. It has a great impact on those who enter your house. It is the first impression anyone’s going to have for your home. So make it a good one. Don’t pile up shoes on the entryway. Invest in a good shoe racks and place your shoes stacked in it carefully. Put a clean doormat at the entry of your house, so that the dirt doesn’t enter inside.

2. Dish Towels
You must be having that cloth or a towel in your kitchen which you must be using to wipe off your wet hands and the wet dishes as well. Most of us don’t clean our hands properly and wipe our hands with the cloth. So if you’re having any such towel, make sure that you change it every alternate day. Wash it with lukewarm water and detergent.

Sponges hold back water and bacteria as well. These bacteria are often killed by microwaving the sponge. You can also boil your sponge to get rid of these nasty creatures. Use foam sponges instead of traditional ones. After washing your dishes with it, hang them in a cool and dry place.

4. Kitchen and Bathroom Counters
Counters get dirty very quickly. Always keep a sponge and a spray bottle beneath your sink. Wipe your kitchen counter and bathroom counters daily. Make sure to wash your kitchen and bathroom sink every other day. All the food residue, grime, hair, etc. gets accumulated there. Also, clean the bathroom door handle and switchboard to get rid of the germs.

5. Remote Control
They are highly covered with dirt and bacteria. At the end of each day, wipe the remote control with a clean washcloth. Clean your cell phone screen as well. Research reveals that our mobile phone screen has as many bacteria as a toilet seat itself.

6. The Bottom of Your Handbag
Remember putting your handbag on that restaurant table? Can you imagine how dirty that place could have been? We put the same handbag on our tables and our kitchen counters and transfer all the dirt to our own house. So after getting home, never forget to clean the bottom of your purse.
