Quick Recipe: How To Make Vegetable Fried Rice From Leftover Cooked Rice!

It’s common to have leftovers after a busy day or tiring day. But you can use your leftovers for the next day, to turn it into something more delicious and healthier!

We Indians love to eat rice, every day. And including them in one of our everyday meals have become quite essential for our taste buds. Many times, when leftover rice is stocked up, you can turn them into another dish, by adding vegetables and flavors to it.

In this recipe, you will learn to cook vegetable fried rice, from the last nights’ leftovers, that can be a great meal for a change of taste buds.

PREPARATION TIME: 5 MINUTES
COOKING TIME: 20 MINUTES
SERVES: 3

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 bowl of leftover cooked Rice
• 1 tablespoon of Oil
• 2-3 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
• 1 finely chopped Red chili
• 1 tablespoon of chopped Carrots
• 3-4 chopped Baby Corns
• 4-5 tablespoon of diced Cabbage
• ½ tablespoon of Sesame Oil
• 4-5 chopped Green Beans
• Salt as per the requirement
• Pepper as per taste
• 1 teaspoon of Soy Sauce
• 2-3 tablespoon of Wine (optional)
• Chopped Spring Onions, for garnish

HOW TO PREPARE:
1. Take a frying pan and put it a medium flame.
2. Then, add oil into the pan and let it heat. Add garlic and chili and sauté for a minute.
3. Now add baby corns, carrots, cabbage, and beans. Sauté for the next 2 minutes and then add sesame oil into it.
4. Next, when vegetables are well cooked, add the leftover rice and stir fry well.
5. Season the dish with salt, soy sauce, pepper and wine (if serving for adults). Cook the rice for another 1 minute.
6. Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
