As a makeup lover, it can get really difficult to pick out just a few products from all of them.
It’s almost like asking a mother to choose between her kids; such a cruel world it is. Not that I have to choose between my kids (because I don’t have any) but I do have to pick a few amongst all my beauty products whenever I am travelling.
Travelling is so much fun but it has one big downside for me, I cannot take all my make with me. But then there are some products that I cannot live without no matter where I am. So here are my top 10 travel beauty essentials without which I cannot go anywhere.
1. Overnight masks- Since you are travelling, you don’t want to carry a lot of products with you. Instead, you should look out for single products which may have various benefits. So in place of your night creams and serums pack just one overnight mask to do it all. But make sure to choose the one that is perfect for your skin type. These masks are loaded with active ingredients which help in replenishing your skin and treat it overnight.

2. Dry shampoo- When you are travelling you want to spend the maximum time exploring the place instead of spending your precious time in the shower washing your hair every other day. To avoid any such situation, you must pack with you a dry shampoo. This product is a life as well as a time saver, so there is no way you can give this a miss.

3. Sunscreen- Everyone wants that vacation tan but you don’t want to get burned, do you? Pack a sunscreen with a high SPF power such as one with at least SPF 50 with both UVA and UVB protection. Slather all the exposed parts of your body with sunscreen before heading out of your hotel or resort. Carry your sunscreen with you at all times while you are roaming and reapply it after every 2 hours.

4. Face cleanser- At the end of the day, one thing that you will look forward to is washing your face. With layers of sunscreen, makeup and dirt the only thought that will cross your mind is washing your face and for that, you need your face cleanser. Don’t forget to pack your trusty cleanser that will clean up all the gunk from your face at the end of the day.

5. BB cream- BB cream is the perfect substitute for your primer, moisturizer, foundation and even sunscreen. This is one beauty product that you must take with you on your holiday. It gives the right coverage while making your skin look natural and letting it breathe.

6. Cheek and lip tint- Again a two in one product. You can use this to give your cheeks that rosy glow that will last the whole day. No need to carry different lipsticks as you can just double up the cheek tint as your lipstick too and the color is sure to last a very long time.

7. Deodorant- Deodorant is a must as you don’t want to smell all day like the sand mixed with the sea and sweat. So make sure to carry a deodorant come antiperspirant with you. You can use it throughout the day whenever you are sweaty.

8. Mascara- According to me the one eye makeup product that you need to carry with you is mascara. A good mascara will make your eyes look more awake. A coat or two of your favorite mascara and you are good to go. Just make sure to use a waterproof mascara as you don’t want it to smudge and spread all over your face.

9. Lip balm- Whether on a holiday or not, a lip balm is a must have product at all times. When you are on a holiday chances are that you won’t be drinking enough water and will be out in the sun for extended hours which can make your lips dry and chapped. Thus, a lip balm is a must for you to carry.

10. Under eye concealer- Yes, you are on a holiday and you are tired. But you don’t want it to show up on you face in any way, especially under your eyes. So in order to hide that darkness under your eyes you need an under eye corrector. Apply just a little bit of the corrector under your eyes followed by your bb cream and your dark circles are gone.
