1. Baking Soda
Baking soda has enjoyed all the hype in the meantime. But now it has to call its quit! Baking soda should be left for the cleaning the kitchen cabinets and sinks. Our face is definitely not one of those. Baking soda is too alkaline and it can mess up the natural pH of your skin. If you have sensitive skin, then stay away from it.

2. Lipstick as a Blush
Many beauty hacks suggest using lipstick as a blush when you run out of your blush. But this trick is not as useful as it seems. It might double up as a blush, but what about the breakouts you’re going to get? The pigments in the lipstick can irritate and clog your pores. If you’re using lipstick on your cheeks, then be ready to deal with some pimples on your cheeks.

3. Toothpaste
Do you know what toothpaste are for? They are for cleaning your teeth. They are meant only for your mouth. Don’t use it on your face to zap a zit. There have been many beauty blogs telling how to use toothpaste on a zit. The harsh ingredients of the toothpaste can play a havoc on your skin. If you want to zap your zit overnight, then use tea tree oil in place of toothpaste.

4. Rubbing Alcohol
Alcohol can be used to disinfect the wound and cuts. But don’t use it regularly to clean your makeup. It is extremely drying. It will strip away the natural oil of your skin. If you don’t want the rough skin, stay away from rubbing alcohol.

5. Vinegar

Lemon juice has been lauded as a fairness remedy for quite a long time. But putting lemon juice concentrate on your skin can irritate the skin. Lemons are highly acidic in nature. It also contains a chemical named psoralen that can be damaging to your skin when exposed to sunlight. Dilute the lemon juice before applying to your skin.

7. Hot Water
