After wearing all those bulky clothes throughout the winters the arriving summers seem like so much of a relief. The best part about summers is that you get to wear your favourite shorts and mini skirts which were hiding somewhere in your closet throughout the winters.
But before donning that miniskirt why not go through some of the do’s and don’ts which are a must to follow if you want to avoid any embarrassing situation.
1. Keep a check on your lingerie- A mini skirt reveals a bit more than any other dress and thus is it important to be little cautious while wearing one. You need to be careful while picking lingerie. It is always a good idea to wear, boy’s shorts or grandma’s shorts with your mini skirt in order to avoid any embarrassing situation.

2. Balance the look- Looking good is all about creating the right balance. When you wear a mini skirt you draw all the attention to your legs and in order to balance out the look, you must wear a top which is neither too tight nor too short or revealing. 3. Get the bushes cleaned up- Hairy legs may not go very well with your stylish mini skirt. Thus, it is better to wax or shave your leg before you put on your mini. Also, make sure that your legs are not dry or flaky. In order to make your legs look even better to apply some bronzer onto your legs, this will add a lot of depth and sheen to them.

4. Choose the correct length- The length of your miniskirt can either make you look classy or can make you look trashy. The right length of the mini skirt varies for every girl as it depends on a lot on your height and body structure. If your derriere is on the heavier side keep the length of the skirt a little longer. Also, choose a length in which you feel confident as well as comfortable.

5. Take care of the slits- If you decide to wear a mini which has slits on it, make sure that the slits are not too high as you don’t want to face any embarrassing situation.

If you are going for a day out or party with your friends you can go for a shorter mini skirt, but if you are dressing up for a business meeting or a formal occasion make sure to maintain a decent length. For formal occasions, you can also pair your skirt with tights and even stockings.
