Lemon is a rich source of vitamin C. Lemon juice is a natural astringent and helps us in removing dead cells. It can also help us to moisturize the skin and opens the clogged skin pores. Before bedtime, you can apply fresh lemon juice with the help of cotton wool on the blackhead area. You can leave this overnight and rinse it off in the morning with warm water. This home remedy can certainly help you to remove blackheads. Also, you can apply a mixture of lemon juice and honey for about 10-15 minutes a day to get rid of blackheads.
2. Baking soda
Baking soda is a natural exfoliator and this can help us to remove blackheads. Mix 2 tablespoons baking soda with 2 tablespoons of water and make a paste out of it. Apply this paste on blackheads area and rinse it off with warm water. It is advisable to not to use this mixture for more than 2 or 3 days as this mixture can dry your skin. Use a suitable moisturize therefore is mandatory after applying this mixture.
Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agent. Apart from this, it also has antibacterial properties. You can make a smooth paste by mixing one tablespoon of turmeric powder with coconut oil. Applying this paste on the affected area for 15-20 minutes will help you in cleaning pores and reduce the blackheads. Coconut oil will keep your skin hydrated and fresh.
Tomatoes have antibacterial properties and are also a good exfoliator.The application of the mixture of tomato paste and lemon juice on the blackheads area will help to get rid of blackheads.
Mask made up of fuller’s Earth and kaolin clay helps to get rid of blackheads. Clay has oil-absorbing properties that help in clearing excess oil along with other impurities.
6. Tea tree oil
Mix coconut oil and tea tree oil and apply this mixture on the blackheads prone area. This will help you to reduce blackheads and also lightens your skin. Its antibacterial properties will also help us to kill the surface bacteria.
