Ghee would naturally make the lips pink while providing them with moisture. Before you go to sleep, massage your lips for few minutes with ghee. Leave it overnight and then wash your lips next morning to remove the residual.

Ghee is the easiest and a quick remedy. Take some ghee on your finger and then apply on the lips. Massage for a few minute and let it stay there. Do this in the early morning and before going to the bed for about a month and notice the difference. How to use desi ghee for lips
1. Ghee with honey and sugar
- Take two teaspoons of sugar in a small bowl.
- Add one teaspoon honey and one teaspoon desi cow ghee.
- Mix the ingredients well.
You can store the above scrub for about 15 to 20 days in an airtight container and remember to keep the container refrigerated.
2. Ghee with coffee and honey
- Take two teaspoons of ground coffee in a small bowl.
- Add one teaspoon honey and one teaspoon desi cow Ghee.
- Mix the ingredients well.

3. Lip balm
- Place a pan on low flame.
- Add 4 spoons of ghee. Once melted, add 2 spoons of coconut oil and one tablespoon of honey.
- As soon as the mixture turns to liquid, pour this into a small container and allow it freeze for about 3-4 hours.
- When hardened, you could use it as lip balm and place in the freezer when not used.
- Your lips will have the feeling of soft plumpness after applying ghee lip balm.
Remember that like the skin, your lips also need hydration. Therefore, do not let yourself dehydrate, water-based vegetables and fruits.
Always consider changing the lipstick as they can be one of the major reasons for lip issues. While choosing your lipstick, look for one having a creamy texture. Avoid using matte lipsticks.
Before going out in the sun, protect the lips, just like your skin, with some sunscreen. Small exercise could help prevent sun’s harmful rays from drying the lips. It is best to use some shea butter as it has SPF properties.
While exfoliating the lips with sugar scrub and honey would make your lips softer, it is always advisable to not to overuse it. Exfoliating once or twice a week is enough.
