Morning is the time when everybody is empty stomach. Every person eats breakfast when he is empty stomach. It is said that skipping breakfast is not healthy friendly, since it is considered as the most important meal of the day. Certainly, many people don’t know, though, that they should not eat anything they are willing to eat in the morning breakfast, because certain foods aren’t that healthy if they’re taken on an empty stomach.

Talking about breakfast, we generally think about having fresh fruits juices, some yoghurt, or may be some oily and spicy foods. Unfortunately, the items mentioned above are not good on eating empty stomach. Ideally, some of these items are obviously good for health, but they are all bad if consumed on an empty stomach. Comparatively adequate amount of fructose and fibers present in fruit might cause slow process the digestive tract during digestion. If we talk about the fruits which are fine to be taken, fruit with tough fibres, such as apple and guava can be taken on empty stomach.

A glass of juice might affect the digestive system and even cause an extra load on the pancreas. If the sugar is processed commercially then it consumption is much worse, so to maintain the health a person should skip eating desserts or sweet smoothies in the morning breakfast.

Aerated drinks are always harmful to the health despite of matter that what time of day they are being consumed. Actually aerated beverages are worse when drunk on an empty stomach. Chemically, the carbonated acids present in the aerated drinks get combined with the natural stomach acids and interrupts the processing of the body which might cause various health complications such as acidity, nausea and gas. The stomach secretes acids to aid the digestion of the food. Consumption of aerate drinks brings extra acid in the digestive tract that may arise stomach cramps or discomfort.

Nowadays it is a very popular habit, to initiate the day with a cup of hot coffee. Coffee is rich in caffeine so it can massively trigger the waking up of the body and mind in the morning, but having coffee in the morning on an empty stomach may lead to acidity. It enhances the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, which shoots gastritis in the people.

Uncooked or raw vegetables are a great source of several essential amino acids. However, if they are eaten on an empty stomach, they can cause various health issues such as flatulence, heartburn and severe abdominal pain. Many of the people say that cucumber is healthy if taken empty stomach but it is wrong, because in the morning the stomach doesn’t produce enough gastric juice. Lack of gastric juice makes it hard for the digestion of cucumbers and lead to cause stomach pain. A person should eat a cucumber as a snack or as the salad with the meal.

Consumption of fermented milk products such as curd or yoghurt on an empty stomach causes inactivity of lactic acid bacteria which are naturally present  in curd or yoghurt because of the high levels of stomach acid. As it is known that at high levels of acidity are caused due to production of hydrochloric acid by the stomach.
