The sweat in this hot summer season makes the feet stink and that is the reason it is very important to take care of the feet. Some practices that one can follow in order to preserve the fragrance of the feet are mentioned below:

1. Soak the feet in Vinegar mixed Water: The best way to get rid of the false odour from the feet is to soak feet in hot water with vinegar mixed into it for about 20 minutes. Vinegar is known to be a good astringent and along with this, it also has exfoliating properties that help in keeping the skin of the feel clean and clear. This is extremely effective and would not harm your pocket at all. You can follow this technique for 2-3 times in a week and the stinky smell from your feet would be vanished automatically.

2. Go Barefoot: This statement does not mean at all that you remove all your footwear and move barefoot around the streets. It simply means that whenever possible try to uncover your feet and let them breathe too. On extreme sunny days, try to avoid the socks and shoes instead choose floaters or flip-flops, so that the air could pass through them.

3. Soak your feet in Lavender Oil: Add a few drops of lavender Oil into warm water and immerse your feet into it for 15-20 minutes. Repeat the procedure every alternative day and experience the difference in skin and odour on your own.

4. Change your Socks Regularly: Well most of the times the feet stink because of the foul smell that the socks produce, so it is advised to change your socks often. The old socks also produce bacteria over the feet causing them to rot and this not only produces bad odour but also causes serious skin problems too. So, it is advised to change socks each and every day for good hygiene.

5. Keep feet dry: This is very important for avoiding the foul smell as the bacteria grows in moist areas and wearing wet socks, moist shoes or footwear without drying feet will encourage the growth of such bacteria. So dry the feet by keeping it dry especially between areas of toes and fingers. The use of feet powder is advised as that helps to keep it dry and germ-free.

6. Wash Shoes Regularly: If you own washable shoes, then you must put them into the washing machine at least after every 2 weeks. You can also add some baking soda to help fight with the odour and after washing the next important step is to get them dried into the sun. The socks and all other footwear should be washed regularly too, especially if you own a washing machine then there is no point of being lazy.
